Horticulture sicilian, with its strong vocation for the production of tomatoes, is faced with the growing challenge of soil-borne pathogens that threaten the health of the crops and the sustainability of agricultural practices. The project Bio Pathogens Management offers a state of the art solution: the Pest control Anaerobic Soil (ASD), a technique microbiological which, together with the valorization of agricultural wastes, regenerate the land and protects the crops in a natural way. <\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Bio Pathogens Management is a collaborative project that was born from the desire to provide farmers sicilian effective and respectful of the environment to combat soil-borne pathogens, one of the main causes of loss of production in the sector of the tomato.<\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Objectives<\/span><\/h2>

  • Reduced environmental impact: Reduce drastically the use of chemical fumigant, protecting soil, water and air.<\/li>
  • Health of the crops: effectively Control the soil-borne pathogens to get more plants strong and productive.<\/li>
  • Circular economy: utilize agricultural waste through composting and re-use in the disinfection of the soil.<\/li>
  • Quality and safety: Get tomatoes with less chemical residues, ensuring a healthier product for consumers.<\/li><\/ul>
